Eruption of Fuego in Guatemala seen from neighboring Acatenango. In December 2021 my father and I hiked Acatenango which is not far from Antigua in Guatemala. It was a staircase of a hike, and there is no water on the mountain so we had to bring all of our own including food and tents to spend the night. Fuego erupts regularly and we could hear it throughout the night. It was awesome to witness, and I'm so glad I was able to capture this image of one of the larger eruptions with the debris visible and the clouds in front of the volcano.
Two sizes available:
16"x16" printed on Ilford MG Art 300 paper which is 100% cotton rag with an acid free base and a heavy weight of 300gms. It has a matte texture with an eggshell like sheen and is my favorite darkroom paper to print on. This size is limited to an edition of 30 + 2AP.
8"x8" printed on Ilford RC Portfolio Pearl paper which is double-weight 255gsm resin coated paper with a subtle pearlescent finish that helps images look sharp and clear with added depth. This is a much more affordable option that does not have an edition limit and is fantastic for creating a gallery-style wall (check out some of my other prints and create a bundle with a 20% discount on 3 or more of these size prints.)
